The storage and conservation of samples is an essential part of any laboratory, since it is necessary for the quality of the resources used to be optimal and to avoid any type of deterioration or damage to the samples.

Racks: The rack is a tool that is part of the laboratory equipment and is used to hold and store many test tubes, flasks and even bags. The racks can be made of the following materials: polyethylene, polystyrene, acrylic resin, polycarbonate, aluminum or stainless steel as required by their use.

• Rack for tubes and microtubes: Its main function is to facilitate the support and handling of tubes and microtubes. In this way, the tubes are kept in an upright position, preventing them from rolling and breaking or spilling the samples they contain.

• Rack for containers: Ideal for transporting sample vials, as it keeps them attached to the rack. Generally, in stainless steel, with a very robust dense mesh base and with holes of different diameters.

• Rack for cryovials: In polypropylene, polystyrene or polycarbonate. They can contain microtubes or cryovials resistant to temperatures -80ºC to 80ºC (polystyrene), resistant to -90ºC (polypropylene) or designed for storage at extreme temperatures of -196ºC to 121ºC (polycarbonate).

• Rack for bags: Made of stainless steel, special for bags of homogenizers.

Bottle carrier: Ideal for transporting bottles safely. In stainless steel for 1 liter bottles, such as chemical reagent type.

Baskets for transporting Petri dishes: Stainless steel baskets. Accepts Petri dishes with a maximum diameter of 100mm. They can contain 10 or 20 Petri dishes.

Baskets for blood collection: It can be made of stainless steel or polypropylene. Ideal for transporting samples within the laboratory and as a basket for extracting plants.
